Mission Statement


The mission of Greeleyville Elementary School is to provide students with diversified learning experiences that will enable them to grow as 21st Century learners and leaders within a global society.

History

Greeleyville Elementary School was established in 1903. The school currently serves approximately 300 students from child development through fifth grade. Greeleyville Elementary School was the first school in Williamsburg County School District to be recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School. The Title One school met AYP, Adequate yearly progress consistently. GES was the recipient of the SC State Literacy award.
 
GES is a community school with community members, school staff, parents, and students working together to ensure student success both in the classroom and thecommunity.
 
We also have many community programs that support our students and parents, as well as our community. These include, but are not limited to: the school's garden, food pantry, and buddy pack backs to help students and members of the community.
